1. Ask your student to show you their homework (it is also written in their agenda). 2. Find a well-lit and quiet place where your student can do homework without interruptions or distractions. 3. Establish a homework routine. Make sure your student knows homework is important and comes before play. 4. Have your student read at least 30 minutes per day, preferably with you. 5. Take your student to the public library at least once a week. 6. If your student is having difficulty with their homework, show them how to do it, but don't do it for them. 7. For long-term projects, start early and do a little everyday.
