Watching the video and reading the article it truly makes me feel sad and disgusted. The governor truly I think is horrible because he's known about this for 3 years and said it was fine to drink. That is a horrible thing to do to people. He should be voted out of his spot as governor. I'm just happy there getting help.

Good video but why did they disobey the law? They could have asked for more money. Why poison the water?

The governments responsibility is to make a change and help give the people safe and healthy drinking water as the city goverment and govener Rick Snyder says.

I think "Why does Michigan do that?". I think that because Michigan should start getting filters for all the residents at Flint. The lead is poisonous to everyone. It is bad for the kids to drink the lead water because it will probably make behavioral problems, physical disabilities, etc.

I think that people should be upset at govener Schnider about the life threatening water. Even though the goverment gave them free stuff the residents still have the right to be mad.It is not fair that the people had to be in danger and the govener did not even care!

The government's responsibility on this crisis is really high, even though they are the highest of authority, doesn't mean that they shouldn't tell if the water is polluted and just let the users suffer, seeing the video and article, shows that there may be many many problems out in the world that we many not know about.

I am happy that the people are not using the water any more . And why would they still use the water if they knew they could get poisioned . If I lived there and knew if there was lead in the water I would not drink it .

At first the residents didn't know the was poisoned. They were totally oblivious to what was going on. Imagine you not knowing you were poisoned with lead and then later you figured it out.

I seriously think that the current governor of Flint should resign from the position because he might be able to solve this problem but you never know how he might respond to other problems in the future. Also, I am so glad people are deciding to help them and that people are also standing up for what they think is right. Lastly, I feel so bad for the people that had to drink this water for an year and a half and later find out that the water can be bad for their health. People that knew about the poison the water could send to a person's body but wasn't able to solve this crisis are also people I feel bad for.

What I think the government's responsibility when it comes to toxic water is that they should help all the people in Flint since everyone is getting high levels of lead in their blood since it states that kids are getting lead in their blood. Their responsibility is to also do as much as possible so that the water doesn't look bad, smell bad, and even taste bad since that is what the video stated. It's just a good thing bottled water exists.

I think that more things should be done and Flint residents should be treated with respect and the water is polluted with lead the should be a bigger issue because it is life threatening and they should be given more than bottled water and water testers.

I totally agree with you on how you said that the incident should become the top priority because it gives the kids a disadvantage in learning. We shouldn't make kids, you are still young, not get a chance to learn properly and get good grades. I believe Flint shouldn't be a school that gives the children a disadvantage at school due to the water they are drinking.

If we had to live in Flint, I would be so scared if we had to drink lead that harms us and nobody knew about it until now... I think that if the people who made the pipes KNEW it was lead pipes, why did they have to leave it like that!? I am very happy they got an apology from the governor himself.

When the government provides water, they have to make sure that it is safe to drink. Their responsibility to provide safe drinking water is that it doesn't affect anybody's health, though it is safe. They also have to make sure that the people are happy with the water supply.
