The central idea of the article is about Rosa Parks and her life. It is about how she got arrested and how other people looked up to her. She died in 2005 (my birth year) at age 29. After she got arrested she lost her job at a store. She then moved to Detroit and worked for a man named John. Before she died the article said that many kids wrote letters to her.

I think the main idea of this article is about her life and how she inspired others. A small part that proves this is " When she was arrested she lost her jod at her store. Then she moved to detriot and got hired to work for a man named John. Later in her life time she received many letters from students around the country. She died at the age of twenty-nine.

The central idea of this article is about Rosa Parks' life. It tells us how Rosa Parks' had changed the bus rules, got arrested and when she had past away. Rosa Parks' was sitting in a bus seat when a white man wanted to sit in her seat. Every African American had to give up their bus seats, but Rosa Parks' wouldn't give up her seat, so she got arrested. After Rosa Parks' was sent to jail, African Americans didn't ride the bus anymore. That's when the bus rules changed. Rosa Parks' had past away on the year 2005.

The main idea about this article is about Rosa Parks life in segregation. For example, this shows how. "Back then, laws were different. Rosa Parks was riding on the bus. There were no other seats. A white man wanted her seat. Blacks were supposed to move. They had to give up their seats for whites." She died at age 92. People got inspired and protested against the bus rules. The protest was 13 months.

The main thing that it is telling you in the article is Rosa Pars in segregation. It is saying how back in the days, some laws were different.Once,Rosa Parks was on a bus that was only for white people, when Rosa was sitting down a white man came up to her and asked for her seat but she said no so an officer came and he arrested Rosa. She died at the age of 92 and now in our days, people look up to Rosa because of what she did.

The central idea of this article is that Rosa Parks kept a journal with her true feelings written in it. A detail that is stated many times during this article is "In this collection, we hear more of that militant voice," referring to her being kind and gentle on the exterior but she wrote in a stronger and firmer fashion. "'I had been pushed around all my life and felt at this moment that I couldn’t take it any more.'" She wrote strong opinions about her rights in her journal. But, she wasn't very outright and firm in her exterior.

I don't think that the main idea would be that she kept her feelings in a journal because that seems too specific. That wasn't what the whole article was focused on. It says other things about her like how she fought to make an end to segregation, I think that the main idea should be focused on a little bit of a bigger topic. Her feelings and the writings in her journal were just one aspect. But I agree, that her exterior and interior personalities were very different, and she hid her inside feelings very well.

I think that the main idea is that rosa parks was important and that she journaled her feelings and emotions. Who would think that rosa parks keeped a journal .Rosa did a big thing for the united states and black people. Because of rosa parks we are all eqaul on the buses . I am glad she wrote the journal because if she didn't we woulden't know why she didn't wan't to move . The article stated that in her journal she wrote "I had been pushed around all my life , I could not take it any more .

The main idea of the passage was about Rosa Parks life. The passage talked about the bad things that happened to her like when she was on a bus and a white man came up to her and asked for her seat.Rosa Parks refused and the bus driver called the cops and she was arrested.People said that Rosa Parks was a calm fellow. When people found Rosa's journal they felt different about her.She wrote her anger in many journals. In the article 1 of the lines said that she wrote "I had been pushed around all my life," Rosa Parks wrote. "I could not take it anymore."She has changed many bus rules when Rosa Parks stood up to herself. Rosa died in 2005 at the age 92.Before she died she was gifted by President Bill Clinton "The medal of freedom."

The central idea of this article was about how Rosa Parks expressed her feelings in journals. The had been as kind and polite as she could, but she finally couldn't take it and refused to give up her seat. The text says "I had been pushed around all my life." "I could't take it anymore." She inspired many African Americans to fight back against segregation. She finally expressed how she felt. Bill Clinton later awarded Rosa Parks The Medal of Freedom. What the article was all about is how Rosa Parks felt that the law was completely wrong and how she started a fight for freedom. The evidence that helps supports my opinion on Rosa Parks is in the first 3 sentences in the paragraph "People Looked Up To Rosa".It states,"Rosa Parks's courage inspired others. Many people decided to stop riding the buses. They wanted to protest the bus rules." Another piece of evidence that supports my opinion is in paragraph "Now We Know Her" In the paragraph it says,"Rosa Parks inspired the bus protests.People spoke up.The protests lasted for 13 months. They worked. The laws on the buses were changed.

The main and central idea of the article is about Rosa Parks and her life that was not what it seemed to be. Some of the added facts and details are her not giving up her seat to a white male person and her life not seeming what it really was. Rosa Parks would not give up her seat to a white man because she said she was tired of getting pushed around by white people and segragation. Another supporting detail is Rosa Parks herself. Although a lot of people think she is gentle and shy she was actually very angry with segragation. Rosa Parks was a very interesting women.

The central idea of this article is how she really felt, her emotions. She really seemed to always be calm and settle, but on the inside she was very mad, and angry at all of this racism. She stood up for what she believed in. If she sat down on a bus, and there was no more seats available when a white person got on, she was expected to get up and move. One time this happened and she said NO I am not moving, she got arrested for this. She got arrested for sitting down, why is that such a crime. I just don't get it there are so many tragic things that happen to black families, because of they're skin color. THEY'RE SKIN COLOR!!!!! This upsets me because there are some black families in my class, but that doesn't mean I'm going to call the police if they don't let me get my way. I am just so embarrassed by those racist white people. I mean I am white but I am currently not going to ever be racist, or care about whether I should treat black people differently than white people. I feel horrible about Rosa Parks death in 2005 because that was the year I was born.

The central idea of the passage is that Rosa Parks is arrested to jail just for not letting a white person sit at her seat in a bus! That encouraged other people ,too. After all, in the passage, the author wrote, "Rosa Parks' courage inspired others. Many people decided to stop riding buses. They wanted to protest the bus rules." She also had a journal she writes in. It's mostly about how unfair her life is. Soon, the laws on buses had changed and Rosa Parks has received a freedom award. In the text, it was written, "The protests lasted for 13 months. They worked. The laws on buses had changed." Also, kids wrote to her all around the world. Though, she died in 2005 when she was 92 years old.

I think that the main idea of this article was about how Rosa Parks and how she stood up for black rights and fought segregation while motivating others to do the same. The main idea is also about Parks' life, and the troubles along the way. I think that that is the main idea, because in the article I read, "Rosa Parks was a hero in the fight to win equal rights tor African Americans." In the article, it also says, "Park's bold stand and arrest inspired others to fight. It led to a successful 13 month effort to end segregation." Both of these statements saying that Parks' was trying to stand up for blacks and became a hero for doing so.

I think that the central idea of this paragraph is Rosa Parks and what she did that made a change. I think that Rosa Parks knew that she was going to make a difference and that she would be remembered for what she did because in the article it says, "Rosa Parks wanted people to know her better. That is why she kept all her papers. She wrote in many journals." She wrote in the journal knowing that eventually, people everywhere would read it.

I think that the central idea of the article is Rosa Parks life and how she had journals to right out her emotions. People thought she was happy and calm, but had bad emotions. The article said, "If Parks had let all her feelings out she might have hurt her cause, so she tried hard to always seem calm and gentle. However, '"in this collection, we hear more of that militant voice,”' Cannon said." That is one supporting detail from the text. The other part of the central idea is Rosa Parks life. One thing we know about her life is that she went to jail because she refused to move out of a spot on a bus designated for a white person. We also know that Rosa had a job that she did not like at all. My supporting detail from the text is,"In 1955 Parks was working at the Montgomery Fair department store. Her journals describe how badly she and other black workers were treated by the store. Black workers were forced to eat lunch leaning up against the blacks-only bathroom." I know that some African Americans are still treated badly, but I have hope that someday there will be peace. :)

The central idea of the story is about Rosa Parks life. Back then there was something called segregation. Segregation is where white people and black people did not have the same rights. White people were treated as upper-class, and lack people were sort of treated like garbage. Black people had to use different bathrooms, eat in different restaurants, and exactly the oppostite of what Rosa parks did which was, giving their bus seat to a white person. Rosa parks was a very strong woman. She believed in black people's rights. She was the one to stand up and risk being in jail. Although she did go to jail, she still had heart for what she cared about. White people got treated like pampered poodles. she got so much, and black people got so little. Rosa parks was one of the people to change that. She put her foot down and made it happen. She changed everything. Now we have the same rights. Sadly Rosa Parks passed in 2005. But we will always have memory of her and what she did to help.

The central idea of this article is how rosa parks gave a word out to the whites that the Africans and the Americans weren't treated equal and they were disobeyed. Even though rosa parks was arrested, she still helped the world just by that. Segregation was a big problem especially in the earlier dats. However, we are not like this today how the african Americans we treated back then.

What the article was about is about Rosa Parks life and that she wrote in her journal. It was also about how she got arrested in 1955. People actually admired her. The journals that Rosa Parks wrote were important because before we read the journals, we thought as Rosa Parks as a gentle kind person but, inside she feels angry. For example all of the pictures of Rosa Parks showed that she is a gentle kind person but like I said, the journals told us a lot about her true feelings. For example, in her journals she wrote about how when she was working at the Montgomery Fair Department Store she and other African Americans were treated badly because they had to eat leaning against the wall next to the bathroom.

The article was basically about Rosa Parks and her life. Rosa Parks stood up for the black people. They had to use different bathrooms, give seats to white people on the bus, eat in different restaurants, etc. But Rosa Parks was a strong women. She stood up for her rights and did not give her seat to a white person. She got arrested. People admired her hard work and courage and stopped riding the bus. They protested. She wrote in many journals about her real self. Without Rosa Parks, we wouldn't have the same rights.
